Skolēni pārdos mājās gatavotas preces pie klases galdiņiem – un ja jums ir skolas vecuma bērni, kas vēl nav uzņemti KBLS, viņi ir laipni aicināti piedalīties! Lūdzam, lai katrs bērns atnes 6–10 katras preces pārdošanai tirgū. Preces var būt rudens tematikas, no dabīgiem materiāliem un ar latvisku pieskārienu.

Students will be selling homemade items at their class tables – and if you have school-age children not yet enrolled in KBLS, they are invited to participate! We ask that each child bring 6–10 of each item to sell at the fair. Items can be autumn-themed, made from natural materials, and with a Latvian touch.

Aicinām vecākus, vecvecākus, radus, draugus un KBLS atbalstītājus uz radošu puzuru gatavošanas apmācību! Satiksimies Ligzdas ziemeļu ēkas virtuvē. Gatavotie puzuri rotās Latviešu eglīti Museum of Science and Industry izstādē “Christmas Around the World”.

We invite parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, and KBLS supporters to a creative puzuri (straw ornament) making session in the Ligzda North building kitchen! The puzuri created will be displayed on the Latvian Christmas tree at the “Christmas Around the World” exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Sirsnīgi aicinām ģimenes pievienoties pusdienām pulksten 11:30 un palikt, lai noskatītos aizraujošo masku gājienu pēcpusdienā. Nepalaidiet garām radošos tērpus un maskas!

We warmly invite families to come share lunch at 11:30 AM and stick around for the exciting mask parade in the afternoon. Don’t miss the creativity and costumes!

Mūsu skola svinēs Ziemassvētkus ar tradicionālo eglītes sarīkojumu, kurā būs dziesmas, dejas, dzejoļi un bērnu svētku programma. Noslēgumā ciemosies Ziemassvētku vecītis ar mazām dāvaniņām.

Dienas programma:

10:00–11:00 – Tirdziņš (būs iespējams iegādāties rotaslietas, keramiku, latviešu ceptās labumi—tostarp piparkūkas un rupjmaizi—rokdarbus, mākslas darbus un daudz ko citu)

11:00–12:00 – KBLS priekšnesums

12:00–15:00 – Pusdienas ($10 no personas) un turpinās Tirdziņš

Visi ir laipni aicināti pievienoties svētku jautrībai!

Our school will celebrate Christmas with a traditional holiday program featuring songs, dances, poems, and a festive children’s performance. At the end, Santa Claus will visit with small gifts.

Schedule of the day:

10:00–11:00 – Holiday Market (you will be able to purchase jewelry, pottery, Latvian baked goods—including piparkūkas and rupjmaize—crafts, artwork, and more)

11:00–12:00 – KBLS performance

12:00-3:00 – Lunch ($10 no personas) and continuation of the Holiday Market

All are welcome to join the holiday fun!

Beidzēju un absolventu vecāki aicina visus pēc izlaiduma pakavēties un piedalīties svinībās!
