Skolēni pārdos mājās gatavotas preces pie klases galdiņiem – un ja jums ir skolas vecuma bērni, kas vēl nav uzņemti KBLS, viņi ir laipni aicināti piedalīties! Lūdzam, lai katrs bērns atnes 6–10 katras preces pārdošanai tirgū. Preces var būt rudens tematikas, no dabīgiem materiāliem un ar latvisku pieskārienu.

Bērnu svētki (12:00–13:45 – Ligzdas Dienvidu ēka)
Organizācijas, absolventi un atbalstītāji rīkos stendus un spēles. Bērni apmeklēs galdus, piedalīsies aktivitātēs un saņems biļetes, ko vēlāk varēs apmainīt pret balvām.

“Stariņš” lielās atklāšanas svinības (12:00–13:45)
Aicinām iepazīt jauno pirmsskolas telpu Ligzdā un svinēt atklāšanu kopā.

Lūdzam ģimenēm iemaksāt 20 USD par katru bērnu, lai segtu dalību visās aktivitātēs.

Miķeļdiena Fair (12:00–1:45pm – Ligzda South Building)
Students will be selling homemade items at their class tables – and if you have school-age children not yet enrolled in KBLS, they are invited to participate! We ask that each child bring 6–10 of each item to sell at the fair. Items can be autumn-themed, made from natural materials, and with a Latvian touch.

Children’s Festival (12:00–1:45pm – Ligzda South Building)
Organizations, alumni, and supporters will host tables and games. Children will visit the tables, join in activities, and collect tickets that can later be exchanged for prizes.

“Stariņš” Grand Opening Celebration (12:00–1:45pm)
Come explore the new preschool space at Ligzda and celebrate the opening together.

We kindly ask families to contribute $20 per child to cover participation in all activities.

Aicinām vecākus, vecvecākus, radus, draugus un KBLS atbalstītājus uz radošu puzuru gatavošanas apmācību! Satiksimies Ligzdas ziemeļu ēkas virtuvē. Gatavotie puzuri rotās Latviešu eglīti Museum of Science and Industry izstādē “Christmas Around the World”.

We invite parents, grandparents, relatives, friends, and KBLS supporters to a creative puzuri (straw ornament) making session in the Ligzda North building kitchen! The puzuri created will be displayed on the Latvian Christmas tree at the “Christmas Around the World” exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Sirsnīgi aicinām ģimenes pievienoties pusdienām pulksten 11:30 un palikt, lai noskatītos aizraujošo masku gājienu pēcpusdienā. Nepalaidiet garām radošos tērpus un maskas!

We warmly invite families to come share lunch at 11:30 AM and stick around for the exciting mask parade in the afternoon. Don’t miss the creativity and costumes!

Mūsu skola svinēs Ziemassvētkus ar tradicionālo eglītes sarīkojumu, kurā būs dziesmas, dejas, dzejoļi un bērnu svētku programma. Noslēgumā ciemosies Ziemassvētku vecītis ar mazām dāvaniņām.

Our school will celebrate Christmas with a traditional “eglīte” event, featuring songs, dances, poems, and a holiday program by the children. The celebration will end with a visit from Ziemassvētku vecītis (Santa Claus) bringing small gifts.
